Company History

Togs For Dogs was founded in the English Lake District by Helen Lister in 1989, after many years of making coats for Italian Greyhounds, her own breed of dogs. In December of 2001, Togs for Dogs was renamed and registered as Togs For Dogs.net Ltd, when Paul Senior and Helen Lister became company directors.
 
Dog owning has been a life long passion for Helen and she has been fortunate in achieving the second highest honour at Crufts in the Toy Group 1998, when her Champion Italian Greyhound (Ch Florita Favolosa) made history for the breed by being the runner up in the Toy Group when she was 9 years of age.

In 2003 she once again was delighted to win Best of Breed at Crufts with (Ch Florita Lisitano) the 19 month old grandson of Ch Florita Favolosa. She truly believes that the least we can do for our canine friends, in return for their loyalty and charm, is to give them the best of health and care.
 
Certain breeds require warm, waterproof practical coats. We design and manufacture all our coats, beds, and rugs from high quality fabrics that have been tested for durability and warmth.

We specialise in made-to-measure dog coats to ensure the correct fit and have made coats for dachshunds to great danes. Comfort is important for any dog and our range of dog beds and rugs are designed to compliment the chiquest of interiors whilst providing a warm, luxurious resting place for your pet.
 
In March 2003 the company attended the Crufts Dog show for the first time and was rewarded with outstanding sales after many of our new customers commented on how the quality of our UK made products were excellent value for money.
 
Based in Cumbria in the heart of the English Lake District we are used to the severe weather that this mountainous area can experience, so therefore we design all our products to be hard wearing and long lasting.

Our careful selection of materials and experience in the dog world, allows us to give you a dog product that we are confident will do justice to our motto that 'Pets love to feel the quality of Togs For Dogs.net'.
